McGean is a 2010 recipient of SOCMA’s Education Outreach Award, sponsored by the Chemical Educational Foundation (CEF). This award represents McGean’s educational outreach, supporting local Student Technical Enrichment Programs (STEP) for junior high students interested in pursuing technical careers.
