Dickson L. Whitney Jr. – President & Chairman of the Board

Dick Whitney Jr. is the 4th generation of the McGean family to be active in the company started by his great-grandfather, John A. McGean, in 1929. He started his career in Los Angeles with the Cee-Bee® Aviation Division as a member of the sales and marketing team.

After Cee-Bee, Dick joined McGean’s Electroplating and Surface Finishing Division in Cleveland. Throughout his career, he has been very active in the company’s international growth, developing new companies in Singapore, China, and India.

Dick was promoted to President/CEO in 1996. He remains committed to ensuring that McGean is a world-class chemistry company, supported by a dedicated group of professionals around the globe who deliver timely and innovative chemical solutions to all of our Specialty and Aviation customers.

Mara Gliozzi – Executive Vice President

Mara Gliozzi joined McGean in 1984. Throughout her accomplished 35-year career, she has had direct assignments and responsibilities in customer service, purchasing, marketing, customer account management, Global Business Management, as a product specialist, and most recently, as Executive Vice President. Mara is a member of the SOCMA Board of Governors.

Paddy Ong – Managing Director – Asia Pacific

Paddy joined McGean in 1990 as Managing Director, Asia Pacific, to establish and cement our company’s footprint in the region. With over four decades of experience involved in the sales and marketing of Aerospace MRO chemistry and NDT products, Paddy has been instrumental in the growth and development of the Cee-Bee Aviation product line.

David Wehner – Chief Financial Officer

David, a certified public accountant, joined McGean in 2015 as its Americas Controller after time in public accounting and manufacturing industries.  As its Chief Financial Officer, David is responsible for all the financial aspects of the Company, along with its human resource, risk management and legal functions.

Leighton Hennah – Managing Director – Europe

Leighton joined McGean in 1995 as the Operations Manager of our Wolverhampton, U.K. facility. Leighton studied at The University of Leeds, Houldsworth School of Applied Science, graduating with both a B.Sc. (Hons) and Ph.D. Beginning his career at the U.K. MoD as a Chemical Process Engineer, Dr. Hennah moved to the RTZ Chemicals Division as a Senior Process Engineer on high-volume manufacturing projects, including Anhydrous Hydrofluoric acid, Fluorinated Aromatics, Anaesthetics, Sulphuric acid, Aluminium Sulphate, and Potassium Fluoride.

Zach Fries – Director of Operations

Zach Fries joined McGean in 2013 as Production Engineer at our Cleveland facility.  Since then, Zach has held operations management roles in several production departments and became Director of Operations in 2023.  Zach has a B.S. Chemical Engineering degree from the University of Toledo and is a member of the Ohio Chemistry Technology Council’s Board of Directors.
